Press release

· NEWS,MEDIA RELATIONS

IMS Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the exclusive movie premiere of the film "La fabrique des pandémies", organised during its month dedicated to biodiversity, on 26 April from 5.30 pm at Kinepolis Kirchberg.

Marie-Monique Robin unveils her latest documentary film in which she makes a compelling statement: if nothing is done to halt the destruction of ecosystems, we will experience epidemics of even greater proportions.

The screening will be followed by a conference debate with the investigator and a signing session of her book "La fabrique des pandémies: Préserver la biodiversité, un impératif pour la santé planétaire". Registration on imslux.lu.

« LA FABRIQUE DES PANDÉMIES »

Deforestation, urbanisation, industrial agriculture... Since 2000, hundreds of scientists have been sounding the alarm: human activities, by precipitating the collapse of biodiversity, have created the conditions for an "epidemic of pandemics". By providing an overview accessible to all through unpublished interviews with more than sixty researchers worldwide, Marie-Monique Robin helps citizens, companies, and political decision-makers understand why economic globalisation is a direct threat to planetary health.

Acting for biodiversity

With this movie premiere, IMS Luxembourg continues to raise awareness about the protection of biodiversity among its member companies and the public, as it was for example already the case with Marie-Monique Robin's column in issue #11 of Sustainability Mag and the exclusive interview she gave at the 2021 Luxembourg Sustainability Forum.
