The Luxembourg Pride Run 2026 confirms, one month ahead of its next edition, its position as a major event promoting diversity, equality and inclusion in Luxembourg

Press release

The event, taking place on Thursday 02 July 2026, has already gathered more than 2,000 registered participants, including a hundred companies, foundations, associations, public institutions and embassies. It also brings together a wide audience of individual participants, families, groups of friends and engaged citizens, all united around the same message: promoting diversity, equality and respect for every individual.

The Luxembourg Pride Run is not a timed race. Its purpose is above all symbolic: allowing everyone to take part freely, without performance pressure, and to affirm their commitment to a more inclusive society. This edition will feature a children’s race, a 5-kilometre route open to both walkers and runners, and a 10-kilometre route reserved for running. Along the course, musical performances will encourage and motivate participants, creating a festive and unifying atmosphere. In total, nearly 4,000 people are expected for this 2026 edition.

According to Christophe Rahier, organiser of the Luxembourg Pride Run, “in a context where the rights of LGBTIQ+ people are regressing in several countries, it is essential to continue showing up, to remain visible and to mobilise. The Pride Run allows everyone to affirm their identity and their commitment to a more inclusive society.”

The event also highlights that the promotion of equality concerns both private life and the professional sphere. Many companies are actively committed to creating more inclusive workplaces, and their strong participation is a clear demonstration of this.

This 2026 edition will take place under the best possible conditions thanks to the financial and logistical support of numerous partner companies. Without their involvement, organising an event of this scale would not be possible. Their contribution reflects a strong commitment to promoting diversity and equality in Luxembourg.

The 2025 edition brought together 3,500 participants and more than 90 companies, demonstrating the strength of a unifying movement. In 2026, this momentum continues to grow, with increased participation from institutions and many companies. The Luxembourg Pride Run 2026 is already shaping up to be an even more inclusive, unifying and vibrant edition. Join us on the Knuedler on Thursday 02 July from 7:00 PM for the first starts.

The Luxembourg Pride Run is organized by the social impact company Be Proud, in collaboration with the City of Luxembourg.
